Bridal Mehndi
On this day and more precisely this evening, the future bride will be adorned with magnificent henna designs.
Various styles exist and are distinguished according to countries and regions.
In India and Pakistan, henna is particularly lavish and detailed.
The patterns can go up to the top of the arms and legs. These are fine and delicate patterns.
In the countries of the Maghreb and the Middle East, the patterns vary and are thicker.
In Morocco, the patterns are more geometric.

My Story

Naïma, Artist
My name is Naïma, I was born in Normandy from a Moroccan mother and Algerian father. Since very young I was attracted to art and every artistic activity was an excitement for me.
When I was 11, we went 2 months to Morroco and that's where I saw the henna traditions at a wedding for the first time. Every since I loved doing henna.
As of today, I have done many many weddings, especially Indian and fusion weddings. I have been in 2016 to Ash Kumar school in London to learn traditional Mehndi.
It's been now more than 10 years that I do henna for myself and for the joy of the many brides and their family I met along the way.
