My Henna Story

 

Hello! I’m Naïma, and here is my henna story…

My journey with henna began when I was 11 years old, during summer holidays in Morocco. My grandmother introduced me to the art of henna and taught me how to prepare and apply it. Those precious moments with her sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since.

​

I have always been drawn to art and deeply inspired by nature, so it felt natural for me to fall in love with henna. There is something magical about preparing the henna paste, filling the cone, and finally beginning to create on the skin. For me, it is a moment of relaxation, creativity, and letting go.

​

But sharing henna with others is even more magical.

​

Growing up, I also loved using henna on my hair as a natural colour, and I still do today. Over the years, my friends and family encouraged me to share my passion more widely. Their support helped me gain confidence and eventually turn something I loved into my everyday work.

​

In 2013, I decided to pursue henna professionally.

​

Being able to make a living doing what I love is more than enough for me. Seeing the joy on my clients’, friends’, and family’s faces when they discover their henna design is the greatest reward I could ask for.

Today, I am available for henna services in Bordeaux and throughout the region. I also travel for special occasions, including weddings and events, both in France and abroad.
